REVIEW:   Purchased this toilet six months ago after researching on-line. We are/were extremely happy with assistance from sales rep. when I called, speed of shipping and the look and performance of toilet. I am now in the process of replacing our two other toilets - will go with this model for one and considering the Drake for the other. Our plummer was wary of our on-line purchase, but in the end thought it was a good choice.

REVIEW:   I did a lot of research on the toilets before I selected the Vespin. I just didn't want to experience the inconsistent flushing issues of our prior toilet. I also wanted a high quality finish for good looks and easier cleaning. The Vespin has been great. I'm so impressed with it's flushing action that I've been known to show it off to our guests (well, I only did that twice really). Not mentioned in Toto's litterature is this toilet's ability to do an 'efficiency' flush (my term). By pushing the handle about halfway, the toilet flushes well, but uses about half as much water. That's a real gift, since water is quite precious here in Arizona. Instead using a pressurized 'push' like many other toilets, the Vespin (maybe all the newer Toto's?) pull the water out of the bowl through a superior vacuum design (called the G-Max design). It's remarkably more effective than any toilet I've ever experienced. The only way to describe it is to imagine the bowl filled with mercury. When you flush, it's as though a 300 pound magnet were activated in the rear of the toilet. Whoosh! It's gone. Just pulled right out the back. Really impressive (and much quiter than a pressure system). My only gripe is a trickling sound as excess water slowly spills down the drain. When I installed the toilet, I noted the toilet's vertical exit pipe slipped into Toto's 'UniFit' adapter (which permits the toilet to use a standard USA floor drain). That design causes a mild dripping sound during use. It's far more noticeable in the quite of the night. I suspect this issue is present in all the Toto's that use the 'UniFit' adapter. But, this is a mild distraction and well worth the design's benefits. So, I can honestly say I am delighted with this toilet. And the SanaGloss finish does offer about a 30% improvement in cleaning ease (just my guestimate).
